Registration

This section provides details about the registration of participants in the FISU World University Championship Sailing.

Registration Process for FISU World University Championships (Team sports)

Participation in the FISU World University Championships is open to athletes nominated by their respective National University Sports Federations (NUSFs). All registrations must be submitted via the official FISU Global Management System (GMS), which is the only accepted registration platform.

The registration process follows four key phases:

1. General Entry (6 months before the event) – 27.03.2026.

NUSFs must confirm their intention to participate in a given Championship by submitting a General Entry Form through the FISU GMS. This confirms the country’s official interest and helps organisers plan participation.

2. Team Deposit Payment (5 months before the event – Team Sports only)

For team sports, NUSFs are required to pay a team deposit to secure their place. This fee is deducted from the final participation fee and is non-refundable in the case of withdrawal.

3. Quantitative Entry (3 months before the event) – 27.06.2026

NUSFs must provide the estimated number of athletes and officials attending.

4. Individual Entry (1 month before the event) – 27.08.2026.

Final registration of all individual athletes and officials, including personal details and required documentation (e.g. passport copies, photos, academic eligibility certificates), must be submitted through the FISU GMS. At this point, NUSFs also pay the remaining balance of participation fees.

Registration Process for FISU World University Championships (Individual sports)

2. Quantitative Entry (3 months before the event) & Deposit payment – 27.06.2026.

NUSFs must provide the estimated number of athletes and officials attending.

For individual sports, a 50% deposit of the total participation fee is also due at this stage, payable directly to the Organising Committee and is non-refundable in the case of withdrawal.

Participation is not confirmed without the payment of the deposit.
