Opening Ceremony

The Opening Ceremony will be held on 27 September 2026 at the Split Riva (seaside promenade), one of the city’s most iconic seaside locations. The ceremony will welcome all delegations and officially open the World University Championships Sailing 2026, highlighting Croatian hospitality, local culture, and the spirit of university sport.

Medal Ceremonies

Award ceremonies will take place at the competition site at the end of the official race days, following the competition schedule and the technical regulations. The exact timing will be confirmed in coordination with the Technical Delegate.

Closing Ceremony & Closing Party

The Closing Ceremony will be held on 2 October 2026, celebrating the athletes and the spirit of international university sport. A closing gathering/party may be organised by the Organising Committee.
